The Goodnight Barn Preservation Committee was formed in Spring 2014, with the intent of raising awareness and funds to restore the Charles Goodnight Barn in Pueblo County, Colorado.  Seven strong and persistent women and one very talented man began with nothing but the desire, drive and energy to save the Goodnight Barn.

Attempts had been made in the past to secure and stabilize the 140 year old Barn, but without the necessary application for grants, the work faltered and stopped .  The Preservation Committee is dedicated to assisting the City of Pueblo (who owns the Barn and the acre it sits on) in applying for State Historic Fund Grants and other foundation grants to see the project through to its completion.

An Annual Goodnight Barn Chuckwagon Dinner in September and the Goodnight Trail Western Art Auction and Sale in October of every year are our main fundraisers.  Throughout the year we host other smaller venues for fundraising, and Laurel and Linda take their slide show and presentation on the road to educate the community organizations and schools.
